An air-operated grease pump, also known as a pneumatic grease pump, is a device that uses compressed air to dispense grease from a container or reservoir. Here’s how it works：

The pump is then assembled attaching the container securely to the pump. There must not be the slightest leakage, air operated grease pumps usually have an inlet or connection point where a grease container or storage tank can be attached.
Transport of grease from the grease pump outlet. Connect a suitable grease dispensing hose or nozzle to this outlet. The hose should be compatible with the type of grease you are using and have the necessary length and flexibility to reach the intended lubrication points.
Air control valves are used to control pneumatic grease pumps and regulate the flow of compressed air in the pump. These valves are typically operated by hand, and they control the pump’s operation, including initiating the pumping action and stopping the flow of grease.
Before starting, we need to grease the pump, which ensures a smooth flow of grease. The grease pump plays a protective role. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to prime the pump, which typically involves purging any air from the system and allowing the grease to fill the pump chamber and hose.
Once we have filled the grease, we first open the air control valve to allow air to be compressed into the pump. The air pressure will create a force that pushes the grease out of the container and through the hose, towards the lubrication points. The pump will continue to dispense grease as long as the air control valve is open and the air supply is maintained.
We must always keep an eye on the level of grease in the container, which must be filled if it is too low. Regularly inspect the pump for any signs of wear or damage and follow the manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines, including lubrication and cleaning procedures.
