The lubrication system is composed of oil pump, oil filter, oil cooler, machine filter and other components. The function of the lubrication system is to continuously transport a sufficient amount of grease with an appropriate temperature to the friction surface of all transmission parts when the engine is working, and form an oil film between the friction surfaces to achieve liquid friction, thereby reducing friction resistance.
A moving gear and a driven gear are installed in the oil pump housing, the gap between the gear and the housing wall is small, and there is an oil inlet in the housing. When the work is carried out, the gear begins to rotate, the volume of the oil inlet chamber becomes larger due to the movement of the gear teeth in the direction of detachment meshing, a certain vacuum degree occurs in the cavity, and the oil is sucked into the oil cavity from the oil inlet by the well. When the gear rotates, the oil stored between the teeth is brought to the oil cavity, because the gear teeth on one side of the oil outlet cavity enter the meshing, the volume of the oil outlet cavity will decrease, the pressure will rise, and the oil will be sent to the initiating oil passage through the oil outlet. The oil pump is driven by a chain through the crankshaft front gear, and when the engine is initiated, the oil pump is constantly working, and then ensures that the oil circulates in the lubricating oil circuit.
If the oil pressure in the lubrication system is too high, the power loss of the generator will be added. For this reason, a pressure limiting valve is set in the oil pump assembly, when the oil pressure exceeds the normal value, the total oil pressure acting on the plunger will exceed the preload of the pressure limiting valve spring, and the top open plunger allows a part of the oil to flow back to the oil inlet of the oil pump, so that the oil circuit adheres to a certain pressure and flow rate to meet the lubrication requirements.
