What is a progressive lubrication system? Progressive lubrication is mainly composed of a system composed of an oil pump, a working bin and a connecting pump. If necessary, the secondary metering device can be connected to the outlet of the primary metering device to increase the number of lubrication points. Its structure is that the lubricating oil ejected by the oil pump (or grease is diverted overnight through the working type) is gradually dispersed and supplied to each oil supply part in a progressive manner.
How does a progressive lubrication system work? Start the oil pump first, the pressure oil then enters the main distributor, the pressure oil pushes a piston connected to it until the piston reaches the end, at the same time the corresponding oil outlet of the piston discharges a quantitative amount of oil and enters the corresponding secondary distributor. The change in the position of the piston causes the piston pressure oil of the other valve block to turn on, at which point the piston begins to move to the end. The quantitative oil is discharged into the inlet line of the corresponding sub-distributor, and as long as the pressure oil is present, the pistons of each valve block of the main distributor circulate in turn. The corresponding oil outlet discharges the quantitative oil in turn and enters the corresponding sub-distributor. Each sub-distributor is driven by the oil discharged by the main distributor, and the oil outlet circulates the quantitative oil discharge. When the pump stops supplying oil, the piston of each distributor stops in its current position. At the beginning of the next oil supply cycle, the pump starts to pump oil, and each piston continues to move to pump oil from the last stop position.
As long as the pump is running, the progressive system provides continuous lubrication. As soon as the pump stops running, the piston of the progressive metering device stops in its current position. When the pump starts supplying lubricant again, the pistons will continue where they left off. As soon as one lubrication point is blocked, the progressive circuit of one outlet of the pump stops. Therefore, as soon as there is a blockage, it must be repaired.
Progressive lubrication systems are very easy to monitor and control, and only one outlet in a primary or secondary metering device at the outlet of a pump can be visually or electronically monitored. It can be supplied with oil by manual, electric or pneumatic pumps and is designed using a combination of base and modular divider. The system has high pressure and a wide range of greases, which can be uniformly lubricated to multiple lubrication parts.
